On the last date of hearing, bailable warrant of the respondent No.3 was issued. He is present and he has filed the statement with the apology for not attending the court earlier. His statement is taken on record and bailable warrant is discharged. Mr. Imran Qureshi advocate files Vakalatnama for him along with statement. The respondent No.3 in a separate table mentioned in the statement shown amount of Rs.8,50,561/- payable to the petitioners, on account of encashment in lieu of LPR, gratuity and pension. He has further stated that due to acute shortage of funds, this amount could not be paid earlier. However, an undertaking has been given that this amount will be paid on priority basis within one month. Copy of the statement has been supplied to the petitioners’ counsel, who is satisfied.

Petition is disposed of with the directions to make payment within one month without fail to the petitioners.

Copy of this order be sent to the Secretary Local Government, Secretary Finance, Government of Sindh and Administrator, Hyderabad Municipal Corporation, Hyderabad for compliance.
