Petitioners have prayed that directions be issued to respondents to issue offer letters to the petitioners as they have been declared successful candidate after completing codal formalities. In response to the public advertisement petitioners applied for the post of O.G Warden/constables BPS-5 and they also appeared in written test in the month of November 2008which was held at Central Prison Hyderabad. They also appeared in viva voice vide letter 23.10.2009. Despite clearing the written test and interview they were not issued offer letters so they have approached this court. Learned counsel for the petitioner alongwith rejoinder filed copies of some offer letters issued to other persons who also applied for the job and took the point that petitioners have been discriminated. Learned A.A.G sought time to verify such letters. Today he has submitted statement duly signed by I.G Prisons Nusarat Hussain Mangan in which it is stated that this matter is old and record regarding appointment of 14-candidates is not found in the office and officers who were engaged with said process, have already been retired from Government services or transferred to some other department. Despite this response, he has clearly stated that new process of recruitment will be made in due course of time and the petitioners will be considered and preferred for appointment. Learned counsel for the petitioners is satisfied with this statement. Petition is disposed of with directions to respondents that petitioners will be given preferential treatment in the new process of recruitment and will be given job after completing codal formalities.
