            It is contended by the learned counsel for the petitioner that father of the petitioner was appointed as Beldar in the Irrigation Department and rendered his services at Dad Division Shaheed Benazirabad from 01.07.1982 to 01.01.2008 and he expired on 11.01.2018 during his service without reaching the age of superannuation. The petitioner has prayed that he may be appointed on deceased’s son quota.

Respondent No.4 has filed the comments through learned Additional Advocate General Sindh in which it is clearly mentioned that the petitioner has never approached the competent authority nor filed any such application for appointment or any consideration so they have totally refuted the contents of petition that the petitioner has not been accommodated for the appointment on deceased’s son quota.

Learned counsel for the petitioner agrees that the petitioner will submit appropriate application to the competent authority in accordance with law. He further requests that if any such application is filed the same may be considered by the department.

This petition is disposed of along with listed application with direction that if any such application is forwarded to the department for appointment of the petitioner on deceased’s son quota, the competent authority shall decide the same within a period of two months in accordance with law.
