The petitioners have approached this Court for quashment of FIR No.22/2014, under Sections 337-F(vi), L(ii), 147, 148, 149, 506/2, 504 PPC, lodged at Police Station ShahpurChakar, District Shahdarpur. They have further prayed to stay the proceedings of the trial Court.

2.         The SHO Police Station ShahpurChakar has filed his comments, in which it is stated that the investigation has been completed and the challan has also been filed against the petitioners.

3.         It is a fact that the petitioners have directly approached this Court without first moving application under section 265-K Cr.P.C. before the trial Court. In the comments of SHO P.S. ShahpurChakar it is also stated that the medical certificate was obtained, thereafter investigation was carried out and then the challan was submitted and it is for the trial Court to examine all the documents/evidence brought on record by the petitioners as well as the I.O. However, after arguing at some length, learned counsel for the petitioners requests that the petition may be disposed of with directions to the trial Court to decide the case expeditiously. The learned Additional A.G. has no objection on this request.

4.         By consent, this petition is disposed of with the directions to the learned trial Court to decide the criminal case arising from Crime No.22/2014, within three months from today.

The pending application also disposed of.
