Through this petition the Petitioner has prayed that respondent No.1 be directed to appoint him against disable quota. AIGP Legal Mr.Ali Sher Jakhrani has filed the comments in which it is stated that the department has not refused the petitioner for appointment in Police Department and his request is pending in T&T Branch Sindh, Karachi. It is further stated that as soon as the process is initiated he will be considered for appointment. It is further stated that Inspector Shah Alam Khan of Karachi Range submitted an application to I.G.P. for appointment of his son in Police Department under 2% quota which application was moved to DIGP (T&T) on behalf of IGP Sindh for considering appointment under disable Quota. However, DIGP T&T vide his letter dated 9.1.2014 has also confirmed that the name of the petitioner will be considered for appointment in the next recruitment to be held in T&T Branch shortly. Copy of letter written by Masooma Changezi, AIGP (Admn. T&T) dated 9.1.2014 is also attached with the comments. Learned AAG submits that in view of the comments, reasonable time may be given so that the petitioner’s case may be processed. The petition is disposed of with the directions to the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner within a period of three months.
