Petitioner challenged the Standing Order dated 30.08.2012 and prayed that same may be declared as illegal, without legal consequence and having no retrospective effect. Today learned counsel for petitioner informed that petitioner has expired hence this petition is abated in view of well known maxim (Actio personalis moritur cum persona) “A personal right of action dies with the person”. The petition disposed of accordingly.
