            Sahib Raza Hasnain Kharal, Secretary PCSIR and Rana Muhammad Aslam, Deputy Secretary (Admn) Ministry of Science & Technology Government of Pakistan are present in Court and submit a certificate issued by Habib Bank Limited today. They were called to explain as to why the cheque issued to the petitioner was dishonoured. They submit that initially the account was deactivated, hence they approached for activation of the account, but today they have submitted a certificate issued by Habib Bank Limited to show that the account has been activated and they assured this Court that petitioner may re-present the cheque and the same will be encashed. They further stated that initially when the cheque was dishonoured it was not in their knowledge that the account was dormant and they regretted for the inconvenience. On their assurance and undertaking the contempt application is disposed of. The petitioner may re-present the cheque in the bank.
