In compliance of order dated 11.02.2014, Dr.Saeed Ahmed
Qureshi has filed explanation for non-filing comments earlier. His explanation
is taken on record which is found satisfactory.
He has also filed parawise comments of respondent No.2.
In Para-5 of comments, it is clearly stated that case of petitioner was
considered for promotion from BS-18 to BS-19 by Provincial Selection Board-II
and was deferred for want of ACRs. Alongwith comments, Minutes of Meeting dated
26.06.2012, are also attached. Name of present petitioner is appearing at
Sr.No.424 with the remarks that he was deferred for the reason that his ACRs
for the year 2008, 2009 and 2010 were not countersigned. It was further stated
that post was kept reserved. Dr.Saeed Ahmed Qureshi submits that post is still
reserved and case of petitioner will be considered in the next meeting of
Provincial Selection Board. Learned counsel for petitioner is satisfied
however, he submits that meeting of last Provincial Selection Board was
convened after 10 years which fact has been denied by Dr.Saeed Ahmed Qureshi.
So learned counsel for petitioner requests that fix time may be given for
meeting. Focal Person to Secretary Health as well as learned AAG submit that
working papers are being prepared and within a period of six months, meeting
will be convened and case of promotion will be considered. On this assurance,
learned counsel for petitioner is satisfied. This petition is disposed of
accordingly alongwith listed applications.
