Through this petition, petitioner has impugned the order
dated 15.09.2013 in which few persons have been promoted from BS-16 to BS-17
while in para-2 of order, promotion of few persons has been deferred by
competent authority in which name of petitioner is appearing at Sr.No.1.
Learned Standing Counsel argued that petition is not maintainable as petitioner
has himself filed departmental appeal on 20.09.2013 which is available at
page-49. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that though he has filed appeal
but still appeal has not been decided. Mr.Nazir Ahmed Minhas Prosecuting
Inspector Pakistan Railways Police Karachi is present alongwith learned Standing
Counsel and he confirms that appeal is pending and he further undertakes that
appeal will be decided within a period of one month. Counsel for petitioner is
satisfied. With this statement, petition is disposed of accordingly alongwith
listed application.
