Project Director says that Remand Home has been prepared, but on account of certain bans KESC, SSGC and KW&SB are not providing connections and consequently children prisoners could not be housed. Let notices be issued to the Managing Directors of three amenity providers to submit their reply as to why new connection is not being provided to the Remand Home.
Project Director further says that even if such demand notices for providing amenity services are issued on account of shortage of fund he would not be able to pay such money, as additional amount of Rs.2.8 Million is required, though it is within the limits of the scheme but on account of ban imposed by the Election Commission of Pakistan on re-appropriation funds are not being released. Let Planning & Development (P&D) Department, Government of Sindh seek necessary permission from the Election Commission of Pakistan for according sanction. Such process be completed within three weeks.
