Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that on account of law and order situation in the vicinity of the petitioner’s village it has become necessary that a picket be created as permanent police picket.
We have perused each and every FIR filed along with petition and it appears that in this petition which is filed in 2012, last FIR that has been filed pertains to the year 2009 where-after no such FIR has been filed by the petitioner. The necessity of creating picket is not found inevitable. However, it is agreed that the official respondents shall increase the vigilance so that the grievance of the petitioner may be redressed. It is also observed that such vigilance would not cosmetic but the respondents shall perform their duties in accordance with law and shall see that no law and order situation be created or no criminals shall getaway from the scene as submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner.
Constitution Petition stands disposed of in the above terms.
