                        The petitioner  in the petition  has prayed for the following relief(s):

a.     That this honourable Court may be pleased to direct the respondents No.11 to 13 may be directed to allow the petitioner party to ply their van service as they were  permitted by the government transportation  authorities i.e. respondent No.04.

b.     To direct  the respondent No.04 to act in accordance  with law and do not allow any person to run van on the route without route permit.

c.     The  respondents No.05 to 10 may be directed to maintain the law and order situation so that the petitioner party can facilitate the common people using the van service.

d.     Award costs of the petition.

e.     Any other relief, which this Honourable Court deems fit and proper, be also awarded to the petitioner.

 

                        Today respondent No.6  Senior Superintendent of Police  has filed statement  alongwith his affidavit  wherein  they have categorically  submitted  that neither  they have harassed the petitioner nor they have any intention.  Learned counsel further   submits that the petitioners  are plying  in accordance with the law and the permit  that has been granted by the respondent No.4.  He seeks direction to respondent No.4  that they should act in accordance with the law. 

                        Accordingly,  this petition is disposed of   with direction to the respondent No.4 to act strictly in accordance with the law and that official respondents   shall not  cause harassment  and hindrance  in lawful activity of their plying commercial vehicles in accordance with the law and permission that has been grated by the respondent No.4.
