                        Through this constitutional petition the petitioner has prayed for the following relief(s):

a. That this Hon’ble Court may be pleased to direct  the respondents to award selection grade and promotion to the petitioner from Sub-Engineer (BPS-11) to Assistant Engineer (BPS-17) w.e.f  23.04.1986, as was done in the case of employees from A to G of Annexure-D at page No.27 and as a second option, the petitioner may be promoted from 1993 from Sub-Engineer (BPS-11) to Assistant Engineer (BPS-17) in same pattern as was done in the case of other employees from Sr.No.1 to 6 of annexure-D at page No.27.

b. Direct  the respondents to ensure that after above selection grade and promotion, necessary fixation of pay with all admissible service benefits,  are given to the petitioner without  further loss of time.

c. Award costs.

d. Grant any other equitable relief.

                        Learned Asstt:  A.G at the very outset  submitted that the petitioner shall be considered  for promotion in the next DPC in accordance with the law. 

                        In these circumstances, learned advocate for the petitioner does not press petition more and it is disposed of accordingly.
