Through this constitutional petition, the petitioners have prayed for the following relief (s): -
(a) To direct the respondents No.1 and 2, not to arrest the petitioner No.2 and his other relatives in connection with any F.I.R/ case, which might have been registered by respondents no.5 to 11 or any other relative of petitioner No.1, showing false abduction of petitioner No.1,
(b) To record statement of petitioner No.1 and on the basis of her statement direct the respondents to allow the petitioners to live happy married life, with further direction to respondents No.1 and 2 to dispose of the F.I.R, if any, which might have been registered by respondents No.5 to 11, showing false abduction of petitioner No.1,
(c) To direct respondents No.1 and 3, within whose jurisdiction the petitioners are presently residing, to provide full legal protection to the petitioners against the ill wishes of respondent No.5 to 11 and other relatives of petitioner No.1.
Notices were issued to the respondents, as well as A.A.G. Comments have been filed by the respondents No. 1, 2 and 5 to 8, in which it is stated that petitioners have contracted love marriage against wished of the parents. Petitioners have never been harassed, nor they shall be harassed in future. Learned State Counsel also states that every protection as provided in the law shall be provided to the petitioners by the official respondent, if and when needed.
In these circumstances, the learned advocate for petitioners does not press this petition more and it is disposed of accordingly.
