Mr. Muhammad Nadeem, advocate for the petitioner Mr. Irfan Aziz, advocate.

 None present for the respondents.

 

           

            We would dispose of the instant petition by directing the petitioner to approach the Electric Inspector within three days from today for determining the status of the petitioner/his property,  as to whether the electricity being consumed by the petitioner is for residential, commercial or industrial purposes.  The Electric Inspector shall within 15 days of filing of the application, which application shall be filed alongwith all the relevant documents/record, dispose it of strictly on merits in accordance with law and through a speaking order.  Till disposal of the application and,  upon prompt in payment of  regular bills,  the electric supply to the petitioner shall not be disconnected.  However, in case the petitioner fails to file the application as prescribed above and/or creates any delay in the disposal of the said application such fact shall be recorded by the Electric Inspector and shall provide a copy of such noting/order to respondent No. 1,  so that they may                dis-connect the electric supply to the petitioner.

 

            The petition alongwith the pending application, stands disposed of in the foregoing terms.
