            Through this constitutional petition, the petitioner has prayed for the following relief (s): -

(a) To direct respondents to issue appointment order to the petitioner for any post of constable as "Son-Quota" in police Department, Government of Sindh.

(b) Any other equitable relief.

            Notices were issued to the respondents, as well as A.A.G. Comments have been filed by the respondents No. 1, 2 and 4.

            Learned counsel for the petitioner states that he would be satisfied if the case of petitioner is considered purely on merits for appointment as constable on "son-quota". Learned Addl. A.G. submits that case of the petitioner shall be considered according to the prevailing Government policy.

            In these circumstances, the petition is disposed of with directions that case of the petitioner be examined by the respondents as per prevailing policy in respect of "son-quota". Compliance report shall be submitted to this Court within two months.
