                   Through this Constitutional Petition, petitioner Muhammad Daud Awan has prayed for the following reliefs :-

a)                 That this honourable Court may be pleased to call respondents No.1 to 4 and direct them not to violate fundamental rights and legal privileges of petitioner and his family and to avoid from arresting harassing, pressurizing or confining him except due course of law.

 

b)                 That this honourable Court may also be pleased to direct the respondents No.1 to 13 not to dispossess the petitioner from his land illegally and forcibly without due course of law and direct them not to cause harassment to the petitioner.

 

c)                  That this honourable Court may also be kindly pleased to direct the S.S.P., Larkana (Respondent No.12) to ensure legal protection to the petitioner and his family against apprehended life and property loss at the hands of private respondents named above and undue harassment and disgrace as well as arbitrary arrest at the hands of respondents No.1 to 4.

 

d)                 To pass any other order as deemed fit and proper to secure legal privileges of petitioner under the prevailing circumstance according to law.

 

 

                   Notices were issued to the respondents as well as Addl. A. G.

 

                   Comments have been filed by respondents No.1 to 4, 9 and 12.  In the comments it is stated that no harassment whatsoever has been caused to the petitioner, nor petitioner shall be harassed in future and legal protection shall be provided to the petitioner.

                   Mr. Mumtaz Ali Bughio, advocate, has appeared on behalf of respondents No.5 to 8, 10 & 10, and undertakes that private respondents shall not harass the petitioner in any manner.  Learned State Counsel also submits that official respondents shall conduct themselves in accordance with law and will not indulge in any activity contrary to the law. 

                   In these circumstances, learned advocate for the petitioner does not press this petition more and it is disposed of accordingly.
