Abro, advocate holding brief for Mr. Iftikhar Ali Arain, advocate for petitioner and states that the latter has contacted him on telephone and informed him that the petitioner has already filed an statement in the present case on 09.10.2012 jointly signed by petitioner as well as his counsel, whereby it is stated that the petitioner does not want to press the present petition and intends to withdraw the same. In support of  statement, affidavit of the petitioner is filed. In view of the statement referred to above, the petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
