                        Through this Constitutional Petition, the petitioner Muhammad Hayat Tunio has prayed for the following relief (s):

a)                  That this Honourable Court may graciously be pleased to issue writ of manadamus directing the respondents No.1 to 4 to provide proper protection to the lives, liberty and property of the petitioner and to ensure that no any illegal harassment would be caused by the official respondents mentioned in para No.6 of the petition.

b)                  To direct the respondents to provide the detail/list of criminal cases if any registered  against the petitioner and his family members.

c)                  To direct the respondent No.1 to record the statement of the petitioner if from his statement a cognizable offence is made out.

d)                  Award cost of the petition.

 

            Notice was issued to the respondents as well as Addl. A. G. Comments have been filed by the respondents No.1 to 3. Copy has been supplied to the advocate for the petitioner. Respondents in their comments have stated that they have never raided the house of the petitioner, no harassment whatsoever has been caused to the petitioner. Nothing has been taken from the house of the petitioner by the respondents. Respondent No.1 further undertakes that he will record the statement of the petitioner if and when petitioner approaches before him and if cognizable offence is made out from his statement. It is further ordered that the respondents shall strictly act in accordance with the law. Every protection as provided under the law shall be provided to the petitioner. In these circumstances, learned advocate for the petitioner does not press this petition more and it is disposed of accordingly.
