Through this Constitutional Petition, petitioner Hafeezullah has prayed for the following relief (s):
(a) That this Honourable Court may be pleased to call upon respondent No.1 restraining him from causing harassment to petitioner in any manner.
(b) This Honourable Court may be pleased to direct respondent No.1 to record statement of petitioner in respect of offence as disclosed in para 2 of the petition and if a cognizable offence is made out; to enter it into 154, Cr.P.C book and to proceed in accordance with law.
(c) Award cost of the petition.
(d) Any other equitable relief, which this
Notices were issued to the respondents as well as Addl. A. G. Comments have been filed by respondents No.1 to 3. Mr. Larik has gone through the statement which have been taken on record and states that police officials have clearly stated that no harassment whatsoever has been caused to the petitioner nor petitioner shall be harassed in future. Therefore, petition stands disposed of in terms of the statement which have been placed on record. However, Mr. Larik submits that he may be allowed to approach learned Sessions Judge/Ex-officio Justice of Peace for seeking direction of the FIR against the police officials. He is at liberty to adopt legal course available to him under the law. Petition stands disposed of accordingly.
