          The grievance of the petitioners is that they have married to each other against the wishes of private respondents, who are bent upon to commit their murder the pretext of so called “Gairat”. However, the official respondents are reluctant to provide them protection.

          The official respondents have filed their statements, stating therein that neither the petitioners have approached them nor they have refused to provide them protection.

          In view of the above the instant petition is disposed of with directions that the official respondents shall provide protection to the petitioners. The respondents No.1 and 8 shall ensure that no harm is caused to the petitioners or family members of the petitioner No.2.  Learned Asstt. A.G. is directed to arrange proper police escort for the petitioners, so that they may be able to reach at their destination safely.
