              With the consent of the learned counsel present, the instant petition is disposed of in the following terms :-

 

1.                  The application filed by the petitioner for quashment of the proceedings pending in respect of the two FIRs which were/are the subject matter of this petition shall be disposed of by the Trial Court within a month from receipt of this order.

 

2.                  The petitioner may file the application for grant of an exemption from appearance before the Trial Court which application shall be decided expeditiously on merits and through a speaking order.

 

3.                  In the fresh FIR being FIR No. 04/2012 registered against the petitioner at Methadar P.S.  for offence under section 489-F, the petitioner is granted protective bail upto 23.04.2012 to enable him to surrender before the Trial Court subject to his furnishing surety in the sum of Rs.500,000/= before the concerned Sessions Court. The protective bail hereby granted shall cease to have effect on 23.4.2012 after court-hours or at any earlier date when the petitioner may surrender before the Trial Court. In case the petitioner fails to surrender as prescribed above the surety shall stand forfeited.

 

 

 

 

 

4.                  The quashment application which may be filed by the petitioner in the aforenoted fresh FIR shall also be decided within a month from filing thereof.

 

5.                  In respect of fresh FIR also, the petitioner may file an application for grant of exemption from personal appearance which application shall also be disposed of at the earliest and strictly on merits and through a speaking order.

 

6.                  No coercive process shall be issued till the disposal of the above noted exemption applications.

 

7.                  The petitioner shall fully cooperate with the Trial Court in the early disposal, as prescribed above.

 

            The petition alongwith the pending applications stands disposed of in the foregoing terms.
