                   What is challenged in this petition is Notification dated 09.4.2011, by which respondent No.5, an Associate Professor of BS-19 has been posted as Regional Director, STEVTA.  It is prayed in prayed clause (a) of the petition that this Notification be set aside and thereafter it is prayed that petitioner be considered for such posting.  Learned Counsel was asked to demonstrate as to whether respondent No.5 was not qualified for such posting or such posting has been ordered in violation of any mandatory provision of law.  Learned Counsel submitted that respondent No.5 has not been considered for such posting. 

                   All eligible employees are entitled to be considered at the time of promotion.  However, for making posting on a particular post it is not a requirement of law that all the employees be given due consideration and then one particular be selected.  No ground for interference is made out.  Consequently, the petition is dismissed.  Listed applications are disposed of.
