Learned Addl. A. G submitted that after removal of the petitioner advertisement was placed and a person has been appointed on regular basis. It was pointed out to the learned Addl. A. G that the petitioner was appointed on contract basis for a period of three years vide order dated 19.12.2007 and he has been removed on the pretext that all appointments made during the tenure of caretaker government have been cancelled. Learned Addl. A.G frankly conceded that in a number of writ petitions such cancellation has been set aside and contended that the petitioner was appointed on contract for a maximum period of three years. Mr. Javed Memon, Deputy Director, Colleges concedes that the college is prepared to pay salary for unexpired period of contract. This is accepted by Mr. Ghouri. Consequently, this Constitutional Petition is disposed of by directing respondent No.1 to pay to the petitioner salary for the unexpired period of contract.
