J U D G M E N T

SAJJAD ALI SHAH,J:- The Appellant has challenged the judgment dated 30.08.2006 passed by Special Judge Control of Narcotic Substances, Hyderabad in Special Case No. 77/1999 where the learned Judge after regular trial finding the Appellant guilty convicted him for an offence U/s 9(c) of C.N.S Act, 1997 and sentenced him to suffer imprisonment for life and fine of Rs.500,000/-.

            Letter from the Superintendent, Central Prison Karachi dated 13.11.2010 on record reflects that the Appellant after completion of sentence has been released on 27^th June 2009. Consequently, notices were issued to the Appellant directly but he has failed to effect appearance.

            We consequently have scrutinized the judgment as well as the evidence led by the prosecution and have come to the conclusion that the judgment impugned does not require any interference. The appeal consequently is dismissed.
