O R D E R

FAISAL ARAB, J. Pursuant to the advertisement published in daily newspapers including KAWISH, the petitioner applied for the post of Data Input Operator. He was listed at serial No.1 for the post of Data Input Operator (BPS-6). Subsequently he also became eligible for the post of Computer Operator (BPS-12) as he graduated in Computer Science. However, on the cut-off date when the applications were invited he was not graduate. He has sought that he be declared eligible for the post of Computer Operator (BPS-12) and in the alternate he has also sought that if he is not found eligible for the post of Computer Operator then he be declared eligible for the post of Data Input Operator.

As the petitioner is said to have qualified as Data Input Operator and not as Computer Operator for the reason that he obtained Graduation Degree after the cut-off date, therefore, his application can only be considered for the post of Data Input Operator, therefore, if there is any vacant post of Data Input Operator then the application of the petitioner may be processed on the basis of written test that he passed for such post.

    This petition is accordingly disposed of.
