O R D E R

FAISAL ARAB, J. The case of the petitioner is that during his posting as incharge CIA, District Khairpur, head of gang of notorious dacaits Ibrahim Sandilo was killed and those police officers who participated in the raid were given out of turn promotions but the petitioner has not been given promotion.

From the para-wise comments it appears that recommendations were sent by DPO for promotion of the three officers which included the present petitioner. From the comments filed by Additional Inspector General of Police in paragraph 7 it is stated that recommendations of DPO were sent to PPO Sindh Karachi vide letter dated 17.10.2007 and that no police personnel in BPS-17 and 18 has been promoted.

Let the final decision be given by PPO Sindh Karachi within two months on the recommendations sent to him and that decision shall be a speaking order that shall be communicated to the petitioner giving reasons for promotion or otherwise to the petitioner.

With these directions, this petition is disposed of along with the listed application.
