                        This petition  has been filed with  the prayer to direct the official respondents not to harass the petitioner party at the behest of private respondents and further to provide legal protection to them, as  and when required. 

            The statements   by respondents No.1 and 2  have been filed,  according to which the official respondents have  never caused any harassment.  It has been sated that there is dispute over family matters between the parties and the police have not  got any  benefit  whatsoever with the said dispute. However,  the official respondents have stated that no harassment whatever  will be caused to petitioner  or   his family members, rather the police officials are legally bound to provide protection  to every  citizen including  petitioner party.   It has been further stated that whatever action  is to be taken, same will be taken strictly in accordance with the law. Both the official respondents  present have stated  that every legal protection will be  provided  to petitioner party as and when required.

                        In view of the above statements, learned counsel for the petitioner  expresses  his satisfaction, and does not press this petition,   which is accordingly disposed of.
