            Along with urgent application, application for return of surety has been moved by the applicant/surety. It appears that applicants/accused Shankar Lal son of Nanik Ram was granted post arrest bail by this Court vide order dated 03.07.2018, subject to their furnishing solvent surety in the sum of Rs.500,000/- (Rupees five lac) and P.R. bond in the like amount to the satisfaction of the Nazir of this Court. As per Nazir’s report Kiran wife of Shankar Lal furnished surety by way of depositing defence saving certificates in the sum of Rs.500,000/-.

 

            Counsel for applicant/surety submits that learned trial Court had acquitted the above named applicant/accused of the charge, vide judgment dated 20.11.2025 passed in Sessions Case No.1979/2019, arising out of FIR No.264/2017, registered at P.S. Baghdadi for offence under sections 420, 467, 468, 472, 506, 447, 34, PPC, hence the surety furnished is no more required. Copy of judgment dated 20.11.2025 has been placed on record. Learned Deputy Prosecutor General Sindh, present in Court in some other cases, waives notice and after having gone through the case file and aforesaid judgment has recorded her no objection for return of surety.

 

            In view of above, surety furnished by the applicant/surety is no more required. Application for return of surety is allowed. Office is directed to return the surety to the applicant/surety upon proper verification and identification, as per rules.
