            Applicant/accused Muhammad Ali seeks post arrest bail in FIR No.62/2025, registered at P.S. Tipu Sultan, for offence under sections 379, 420, 34, PPC, after rejection of his bail plea by learned Additional Sessions Judge-XI, Karachi South vide order dated 20.03.2025.

 

2.         Brief facts of the case are that Complainant, who is Moroccan National, was on Business trip to Karachi. On 16.02.2025, while he was going for breakfast, when he reached Shahra-e-Faisal under Shahra-e-Quaideen Flyover at around 02:15 p.m., a dark Grey colour car stopped in his front, two persons boarded in car introduced themselves as Police Officials, they asked for his belongings accusing him of carrying hashish, they conducted search of his bag and wallets and returned his bag and drove away. When he looked into his bag he found his 750 USD, 2700 Euro, Moroccan ID Card No.C-910404, German resident Card No.Y27TP1VL6, Italian Driving License, Credit Card Sparkasse German Bank, Credit Card Postpay Italian, Credit Card Italian Post, one black Hugo boss wallet, one wallet dark green Louis Vuitton missing, which were fraudulently stolen by said persons, he can recognize them on appearance. Hence the subject FIR.

 

3.         This bail application was filed on 10.04.2025 and it was first time posted before this Court on 21.04.2025 when none appeared for applicant, however, in the interest of justice, notice was issued to Prosecutor General Sindh and complainant. SHO P.S. Tipu Sultan has furnished report that complainant of this case was Moroccan national and he left the Country. CRO of applicant is received, which reveals that he is involved in three other like nature cases pertaining to years 2022 and 2025. Since no one is in attendance on behalf of applicant, this criminal bail application is dismissed for non-prosecution, however, with direction to the trial Court to decide the case expeditiously, preferably within a period of six months.
