This
acquittal appeal was filed on 09.06.2023 and it was first time presented in
Court on 23.06.2023 when none appeared on behalf of appellant and in the
interest of justice, matter was adjourned. Record further reflects that on
04.12.2023 again matter was adjourned due to non-appearance of appellant and
his counsel. On 15.12.2023, counsel for appellant appeared and sought time for
preparation. On 06.05.2025 counsel for appellant appeared in Court and again sought
time for preparation, however, in the interest of justice, matter was adjourned
for today. This is date by Court matter but the appellant and his counsel are
called absent without intimation, which reflects that they have lost interest
to pursue the instant appeal. Therefore, instant criminal acquittal appeal is
dismissed for non-prosecution along with pending application(s).
