Bakhti Rawan son of
Dilbar Khan seeks protective bail in FIR No.623/2024,
registered at P.S. Quaidabad, Karachi for offence
under Section 9(c)(3) of the Control of Narcotic Substances Act. Learned
counsel for applicant submits that applicant was unaware about registration of
aforesaid FIR and he has not intentionally absconded; that he is a law abiding
citizen and intends to surrender before the learned trial Court concerned but
he apprehends his arrest in the wake of NBW issued against him.
Without touching the merits of the case, protective bail is granted to
applicant/accused above named, for a period of three (3) days from today, subject to furnishing solvent surety in
the sum of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand) and
P.R bond in the like amount to the satisfaction of the Nazir of this Court. Operation
of NBW issued against the applicant/accused is suspended for three days.
Applicant/accused is directed to surrender before the trial Court concerned in
the aforesaid period and join the investigation/trial forthwith. This order
shall cease to have its effect after expiry of three days from today or whenever
applicant surrenders before the trial Court, which one occurs earlier. It is
made clear, in case, applicant/accused fails to surrender before the trial
Court in the aforesaid period, his bail bond shall stands automatically
forfeited.
The instant
criminal bail application is accordingly disposed
of.
