Farrukh Ahmed son of Aqeel
Ahmed is present along with his counsel. He seeks protective bail in FIR
No.58/2021, registered at P.S. FIA, AHT Circle, Karachi for offence under
Section 6(1)(a)(c) of the Passport Act, 1974.
Learned
advocate for applicant/accused submits that applicant/accused has been falsely
implicated in this case in order to humiliate and disgrace him; that the
applicant/accused is a law abiding citizen and intends to surrender before the
trial Court but he feels apprehension of his arrest as NBW has been issued
against him by the trial Court.
Without touching the merits of the case, protective bail is granted to
applicant/accused Farrukh Ahmed son of Aqeel
Ahmed, for a period of four (4) days
from today, subject to furnishing solvent surety in the sum of Rs.50,000/- (Rupees fifty thousand) and P.R bond in the like amount to the
satisfaction of the Nazir of this Court. Operation of NBW issued against the
applicant/accused is suspended for four days. Applicant/accused is directed to
surrender before the trial Court in the aforesaid period and join the trial forthwith.
This order shall cease to have its effect after expiry of four days from today
or whenever applicant/accused surrenders before the trial Court, which one
occurs earlier. It is made clear, in case, applicant/accused fails to surrender
before the trial Court in the aforesaid period, his bail bond shall stands automatically
forfeited.
The instant
criminal bail application is accordingly disposed
of.
