Muhammd Mumtaz son
of Sabir Ali seeks protective bail in FIR No.375/2022,
registered at P.S. Saeedabad, Keamari,
Karachi for offence under Sections 6/9(c) of the Control of Narcotic Substances
Act, 1997.
Learned
counsel for applicant submits that applicant/accused is innocent and he has been
falsely implicated in this case due to mala intentions and ulterior motives;
that applicant/accused is a law abiding citizen and intends to surrender before
the trial Court concerned but apprehends his arrest at the hands of concerned police
in order to humiliate and disgrace him.
Without touching the merits of the case, protective bail is granted to
applicant/accused Muhammd Mumtaz son
of Sabir Ali, for a period of four (4) days from today, subject to his furnishing solvent surety
in the sum of Rs.50,000/-
(Rupees Fifty Thousand) and P.R
bond in the like amount to the satisfaction of the Nazir of this Court.
Applicant is directed to surrender before the trial Court concerned in the
aforesaid period and join the trial forthwith. This order shall cease to have
its effect after expiry of four days from today or whenever the applicant surrenders
before the trial Court, which one occurs earlier. It is made clear, in case,
applicant fails to surrender before the trial Court in the aforesaid period, his
bail bond shall stand automatically forfeited.
The instant
criminal bail application is accordingly disposed
of.
