            The petitioner states that his previous service with the Education Department has not been counted and he has received the cheque only in regard to retiring benefits for the period for which he has served in Sindh Text Book Board.

            In this regard we have noticed a letter of the Accounts Officer Pension-III of Accountant General Sindh dated 28.6.2006, wherein the District Accounts Officer Khairpur was directed to pay a sum of Rs.8299.09 allowed by the Finance Department Government of Sindh in respect of the petitioner Mr. Hidayatullah for the services rendered by him in Education Department Government of Sindh as H.S.T. from the period from 3.10.1968 to 27.12.1976. We direct the District Accounts Officer Khairpur, to submit this amount to the Sindh Text Book Board who on receipt of the amount shall count the service from the date he was inducted in the Education Department and should release the remaining amount by computing the same as stated herein above. This exercise shall be completed by District Accounts Officer within fifteen (15) days from today and report compliance.

            The officers of Sindh Text Book Board present and no order is required to be issued to them. The moment the amount is received by them the pensionary/retiring benefits of the petitioner by computing the previous service shall be released to him.

            The copy of this order be faxed to the District Accounts Officer Khairpur and the Secretary Finance Government of Sindh for compliance.

            The petition in the above terms stands disposed of.
