I have married to Kamil Hussain about 15/16 days back at Karachi. I left my house out of my own free will and joined Kamil Hussain. I have neither been abducted nor I am living against my wishes. My step father namely Imtiaz who has married to my mother after the death of my father has wanted me to marry a man of advance age for which he has taken money; when I refused I was physically tortured by my maternal uncle Guddu by burning my left hand ( we have noticed one mark appears on her left hand). I say that we are being extended threats by my step father and my five maternal uncles namely Guddu, Fida Hussain, Mushtaq, Raja and Soono. I and my husband may be killed as we are receiving threats of life. I pray that the story narrated in the FIR No. 97 of 2009 police station Airport Shaheed Benazirabad which has been filed at the instance of my step father Imtiaz is concocted. I have never been abducted nor I am living with Kamil Hussain against my own wishes. The persons named in the FIR are innocent. I pray that the proceedings be quashed.

            We have recorded the statement of the Petitioner and we are of the view that she has married to Kamil Hussain out of her own free will without duress. We direct the I/O to record the statement of Mst. Murk in the office of Additional Registrar and submit it before the concerned Court recommending disposal of the case under “B” Class. No one should be arrested by the police in Crime No. 97 of 2009 police station Airport Shaheed Benazirabad .

            This petition stands disposed of in the above terms.
