            The Land Acquisition Officer has no role to play in these proceedings. He states that as per the Revenue Record the petitioner was allotted land in the year 1997 and the construction by which the land has been taken over by the respondent 2 and 3 was made in the year 1996. He further states that the Land Acquisition Officer has not paid a single penny towards compensation. However, it is within his knowledge that compensation has been paid to the petitioner by the WAPDA directly for the damage of crops. This is independent issue. Since the Land Acquisition Officer denies acquisition therefore, the dispute is between the petitioner and respondents 2 and 3. The petitioner however, may approach the Civil Court for redressal of his grievance as he disputes that he has not received any amount towards compensation.

The E.D.O. present is put to notice to ensure that no tampering in the revenue record should be done and the revenue officials against whom criminal cases are pending should not be allowed to hold field posting. Immediate action shall be taken against those officers or subordinates.

This petition stands disposed of in the above terms.
