                        It is contended by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner was appointed as Malhi in Education Department; subsequently he was promoted as Clerk; now his salary for his promoted post as Clerk is not being paid by the respondents. By stating so, he sought for direction against the respondents to release his salary for his promoted post as Clerk. The petitioner obviously is a civil servant. Issue of his promotion and release of his salary for promoted post as Clerk could only be adjudicated by Service Tribunal having jurisdiction. Consequently, the instant petition being barred by Article 212 of the Constitution of Islamic Republic of Pakistan, 1973, is dismissed in limine along with listed applications.
