In the earlier proceedings perhaps the delay is attributed on account of absence of the applicant as he remained absent on 17 dates. Subsequently when he was arrested on 07.10.2020, the trial could not be concluded in 6 months perhaps due to corona pandemic situation prevailing in the country.

Be that as it may, I deem it proper to direct the trial court to record evidence of atleast three material witnesses where after the applicant may apply the trial court for the concession of bail if the law so permits.

Both Cr.Bail Aplns No.539 of 2021 and 540 of 2021 stand disposed of.
