                        It is contended by learned counsel for the petitioner that the respondents are upsetting the promotion of the petitioner as Head Constable, who otherwise has been promoted legally; therefore, they be restrained from reverting the petitioner as Constable.

                        The petitioner admittedly is a public servant, therefore, the issue of his promotion/reversion could only be adjudicated by a Service Tribunal having jurisdiction and not by this Court in exercise of its constitutional jurisdiction. Consequently, the instant constitutional petition being misconceived is dismissed in limine together with listed applications.
