Mr. Muhammad Nasir, Advocate holding brief for Mr. Jawaid Farooqui, Advocate for the petitioner, submits that latter is out of station, however, under instructions states that petitioner will be satisfied and will not press instant petition provided that respondents may be directed not to take any adverse action against the petitioner, including suspension of sales tax registration, without issuing any show-cause notice or without providing an opportunity of being heard to the petitioner in accordance with law, whereas, learned counsel placed reliance in the recent judgment of this Court passed in similar petitions, including C.P. No.D-8101/2017 [RE: Saleem Ahmed vs. Federation of Pakistan and others].

Learned counsel for the respondent as well as learned Asst. Attorney General do not oppose disposal of instant petition.

Accordingly, instant petition is disposed of with the directions to the respondents not to take any adverse action against the petitioner including suspension of sales tax registration without issuing any show-cause notice, whereas, proper opportunity of being heard shall be provided to the petitioner in accordance with law in terms of the aforesaid judgment passed by this Court in similar petitions, including C.P. No.D-8101/2017 [RE: Saleem Ahmed vs. Federation of Pakistan and others].

Petition stands disposed of in above terms alongwith listed applications.
