O R D E R
ADNAN-UL-KARIM MEMON, J. – As per pleadings of the parties, dispute between them relating to alleged load-shedding of electricity and related issues has been resolved amicably.
Mr. Sikandar Ali Junejo learned counsel for the petitioners argued that the respondent-company is adamant to take coercive measures against the petitioners by disconnecting electricity connections due to non-payment of electricity bills in time or purported cases of theft of electricity etc. as discussed supra. It was also contented by them that the petitioners are not defaulter of the electricity dues; that due to heavy load-shedding of electricity they are suffering a lot; that the official respondents have disconnected the main supply line of 1100 KV, therefore they are constrained to invoke the constitutional jurisdiction of this Court as the respondents have either failed to redress their grievance or their complaints have not been taken care of by them despite passage of considerable time.
At the very outset Mr. Abdul Majeed Shaikh learned counsel representing respondents has disputed the point of view of the petitioners, however he has filed a statement to the effect that the process of APC cable has been installed over the LT system; that they will resolve the issue of load shedding at zero level and other related issues, subject to payment of electricity dues by the consumers.
In view of the above facts and circumstances of the case, the instant petition is disposed of in the terms of statement submitted by the learned counsel for respondents No.2 to 6 with no order as to costs.
