Statement along with documents
listed therein has been filed by the petitioners’ counsel, and another
statement has been filed by respondent No.8, which are taken on record.
It appears that the petitioners are
retired employees of PTCL, to whom the land was
granted by Board of Revenue. The petitioners have now turned around and intend
to challenge the title of PTCL granted by Board of
Revenue. The induction of these petitioners was only by way of their right as
being employees. Since now they have become retired, they may not enjoy such
rights but regulated in terms of policy. Hence, if at all, they intend to
challenge any title document, they must first vacate the premises and then they
would be at liberty to exercise their right in respect of the land in question
as far as title is concerned. The petition as such has no merit, and is dismissed. The respondents, in
particular PTCL, are at liberty to act in accordance
with law insofar as vacation of the premises is concerned.
The petition is dismissed in the above terms along with the listed application.
