This petition has been filed seeking direction against the private respondents wherein it was alleged that the area police is harassing the petitioner at the behest of these individuals. Private respondents are present and state that they have not harassed or intended to cause any harassment to the petitioner. Counsel for the petitioner, however, submits that area police be directed to act strictly in accordance with law and in case of any harassment or any illegality committed then the petitioner may approach to area police and if any cognizable offence is made out the police to act strictly in accordance with law. Order accordingly. Private respondents are directed not to harass the petitioner and police to act strictly in accordance with law.
