On the question of maintainability learned counsel for the petitioner has referred to earlier applications filed as Annexure ‘A’ and ‘A-1’ against the police officials (respondents) and enquiry was conducted on a report available at page 21. He seeks protection of police against the high handedness of the private respondents.

This petition is disposed of with directions to police officials to ensurethat no untoward incident takes place between the petitioner and private respondents and police officials in this regard should take appropriate steps in accordance with law.
