A brief is held for Mr. Abid S. Zuberi, counsel for the plaintiff, and the Court has waited better part of the day. The counsel is reportedly busy before another Bench. It is 1:30 p.m.

As observed on the last date of hearing delays after the grant of relief were depriving the performers/defendant from their valuable rights, in particular when performing artists have a limited shelf life, and time is always running against them. The Courts have time and again in many judgments held that if performance rights are restrained, not only creativity suffers, but also people at large are deprived from being facilitated by the creative talents of the performers.

In the circumstances, while the matter is adjourned to 25.09.2018 at 11:00 a.m, however the interim orders are vacated.
