The petitioner by way of instant Constitutional petition has sought for quashment of FIR Crime No.17/2018 which is registered with Police Station, Anti-Corruption Establishment, Khairpur.

2. The Circle Officer, Anti-Corruption Establishment Khairpur has furnished his report. It is stated therein that the interim charge sheet in above said FIR has been submitted and cognizance whereof has already been by the Court having jurisdiction. After submission of the challan no FIR could be quashed as has been held to be by Honourable Apex court in case titled “Director General Anti-Corruption Establishment Lahore vs. Muhammad Akram Khan and others” (PLD 2013 SC 401).

3. In view of above, the instant Constitutional petition is dismissed together with listed application, leaving the petitioner to seek his remedy before learned trial Court in accordance with law.
