Aftab Ahmed Gorar, J.:- comments filed on behalf of respondent No.3 are taken on the record, copy of same has been provided to learned counsel for the petitioner.
2. At the outset, learned Additional Advocate General, Sindh, learned Deputy Prosecutor General, Sindh and Law Officer of Pakistan Rangers submit that State functionaries are legally bound to provide legal protection to all the citizens including the petitioners without any discrimination. They ensure that official respondents shall conduct themselves strictly in accordance with law and provide legal protection to the petitioners. Similarly learned counsel for private respondents 4 to 7 submits that neither the private respondents had caused harassment to the petitioner in past nor they intend to do so in future.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner being satisfied with the above statements, seeks disposal of instant petition. Accordingly, the petition is disposed of with directions to official respondents to conduct themselves strictly in accordance with law and provide legal protection of life, honour and property to the petitioner in the manner that no one shall cause harassment to the petitioner.
