3. Applicant Muhammad Akmal son of Mukhtar Ahmed seeks protective bail in Crime No. 48 of 2014 under section 186/353/324/34 PPC registered with Police Station Saudabad Karachi. Learned counsel submits that earlier the applicant had obtained bail from the trial court but after transferring of case to the Anti-Terrorism Court the earlier bail was cancelled. He further submitted that applicant intends to surrender before the concerned court but having apprehension of maltreatment, disgrace, humiliation from the hands of investigating agency, if arrested, he has approached this Court for grant of protection.
Be that as it may, without touching the merits and demerits of the case protective bail for seven days from today is granted to the applicant subject to his furnishing solvent surety in the sum of Rs.50,000/- (Rupees fifty thousand only) and P.R.Bond in the like amount to the satisfaction of the Nazir of this court.
This concession of protective bail shall cease to have force on 20.05.2018 or when the applicant surrenders himself before the concerned court, whichever is earlier.
This bail application stands disposed of in the above terms.
