3. Applicant Muhammad Shafiq Khan son of Sardar M. Mukhtiar Khan seeks protective bail in Crime No. 20 of 2014 under section 409/420/468/471/109/34 PPC read with section 5(2) of PCA registered with Police Station FIA C.C.C. Karachi. Learned counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the case. Learned counsel next submits that the applicant intends to surrender before the concerned court but due to issuance of NBWs against him, having apprehension of maltreatment, disgrace, humiliation from the hands of investigating agency, if arrested, he has approached this Court for grant of protection and suspension of NBWs issued against him by the trial court.
Be that as it may, without adverting to the merits and demerits of the case, by suspending the operation of NBWs issued against the applicant, protective bail for seven days from today is granted to the applicant on his furnishing solvent surety in the sum of Rs.50,000/- (Rupees fifty thousand only) and P.R.Bond in the like amount to the satisfaction of the Nazir of this court.
This concession of protective bail shall cease to have force on 18.04.2018 or when the applicant surrenders himself before the concerned court, whichever is earlier.
This bail application stands disposed of in the above terms.
